Over the past 15 years, numerous colonies of bees have been decimated throughout the world, but the causes of this disaster remain unknown. Depending on the world region, 50% to 90% of all local bees have disappeared, and this epidemic is still spreading from beehive to beehive – all over the planet. Everywhere, the same scenario is repeated: billions of bees leave their hives, never to return. No bodies are found in the immediate surroundings, and no visible predators can be located. Should we blame pesticides or even medication used to combat them? Maybe look at parasites such as varroa

What they saw was a more “unified brain.” When tripping on acid, people often say that everyday objects become drenched with deep meaning and significance. In The Doors of Perception, Aldous Huxley famously wrote of becoming utterly captivated by the folds in his gray flannel pants during his first-ever psychedelic experience. “I looked down by chance, and went on passionately staring by choice, at my own crossed legs,” the writer and philosopher recollected. “Those folds in the trousers ― what a labyrinth of endlessly significant complexity!

Contemporary attempts to create AI have us looking more at how our own brains work to see how a computer could simulate the core activities that create our intelligence. No matter how we get there, it is certain that artificial

Marshall Rosenberg, Ph.D. Nonviolent Communication Nonviolent communication is a language designed for everyone to get what we want. This translates to what we might be feeling or needing each moment of our lives. This workshop covers the feelings we have when we’re observing without evaluating, and connecting those feelings to the universal needs. Those needs are then followed up with how we meet them through strategies, preferences & requests. “Please” is an expression of unmet need & “thank you” is an expression of met needs. The root of feelings are our ‘needs.’ All needs are universal. What differs immensely is
